PEOPLE Management Michael Canturi Responsibilities include business development, project negotiations, contract management and administration. Michael is a proud member of the “Urban Developers Institute of Australia” and the “Property Council of Australia”. Commencing his career as an architectural design draftsman, Michael Canturi has always been passionate about good architecture and property. In 1994 Michael began his first residential development in the Vaucluse of Sydney and in 2000 began working closely with one of Australia’s award winning architects, Ed Lippmann. Following one of his developments, Michael realised a gap in the niche market for building high end contemporary residential work. Michael initiated the beginning of Aqupa Pty Ltd as a construction company specialising in this field. As a keen advocate of good architecture, Michael understands and appreciates the architects and client’s vision, both from a design and property point of view. Michael’s primary focus is with clients, consultants and the future growth of the company. |
Chris Dimitriadis Chris is the company’s ‘Nominated Qualified Building Supervisor’ and technical advisor. He is responsible for the overall building management and consultation Peter Dimitriadis Peter is directly responsible for the onsite implementation of works and trades management, with focus on quality control. Chris and Peter Dimitriadis come from a proud family history of master craftsmen. Their father, a master woodcarver, carpenter is well known for his intricate hand carved woodwork and sculptures seen in many Sydney Orthodox churches. Like their father, Chris and Peter learned their craft from an early age and have since proudly grown with the same high standards and values. Today they have both progressed to master all trades of the building industry, providing full quality construction works and service. Prior to Aqupa, the brothers managed their own building business, each bringing over 20 years of experience. Know in the industry as specialists for advanced technical solutions in fabrication and installation of contemporary materials such as glass, steel and aluminium. |
Our team As we understand the importance of long term relationships with our clients, this also applies to our staff and loyal team of trades and contractors. Firstly, it is important that we use the best tradesmen and suppliers in the industry and secondly, that they share the same appreciation for architecture. We ensure that, although highly experienced, they are open to learning and committed to working in a professional and safe manner. Most of our tradesmen have been working with us for many years, some relationships spanning over 15 years. Having these ongoing associations are vital to Aqupa’s growth, as they offer us the confidence to guarantee each new project is delivered with the same high standard of finish as our previous. |
